We want you...
To be part of the Left Coast Strat-O-Matic Baseball League!
The LCSB has been in existence since September 1999.  The league was previously known as the Greater Orange SOM league, which had been around since the mid-'80s, until 11 of the 12 members moved to form the LCSB.  The formation of the LCSB is based on the concept of "Total Participation".  Each GM is expected to be part of all decision making and league functions in order to provide for a fun and competitive league environment.
The LCSB meets once a month, usually on the 3rd Saturday (March - September), playing all of it's games on the computer. The league is comprised of two leagues (American and National), with the American League being a face-to-face league and the National being a play by mail league with it's unplayed games played on the computer.  Both leagues play a 162 game schedule, 20 of which are interleague. Post draft, each team consists of 36 players, and we have a 20 man roster limit cutdown on Nov 1 of each year.
Playoffs are in October.  League Fiesta in November.
AL Draft is held on the 2nd Saturday in December.  NL Draft on the 2nd Saturday in January.
The yearly fees are $40.  This covers the cost of one Strat Computer game. All remaining money goes towards minimal incidentals and the year-end awards dinner / celebration /  fiesta.
